Urbanity

This time, we are in group of 6 then have to go Penang Times Square (PTS) to study the surrounds-space-form, nodes-paths. My group member are Lee Joe Win, Loh Chin Bok, Mahram Akhavan, Yang AidaYuhannis Binti Ahmad Kamal, Yvonne Lai Hui Ying and Toh Shenq Jia (me).

3C - 6-Balloons Black bamboo box

This time we have to create a Black Box for Merdeka count down use. The black box must made of bamboo and recycle paper and then inside can be put 6 helium balloons. When the count down ceremony we going to release those balloons.


Measuring and then going to cut.


This is what I need that smoother by sand paper.

Tight and then use Hot-glue gun to make it stronger.

Cover it by recycle cardboard.

This is the product I done.
But, rejected by Cik Wan because it is too heavy...

This is the product I make which is more lighter and I hope 6 balloons can carry it up.

3B- Black Box

Black Box?? A black colour box?? nono... Black box can be anything inside.
Cik Wan want us to sketch as many as possible in our Black Book.

I decide to wash the 3rd sketch with water colour.

This assignment want us to design a casket by bamboo for ourselves. Then also have to show our sarong when we place inside the casket. After that, we need to apply the human dimension to draw 6 persons carrying my casket.

Cubes & Human Dimension

Today we learn the humanity, golden section, classical (Greek & Roman) order, Renaissance theory, Modular system, Ken system and Anthropometry.
After that we train to use our jengkal to draw out our own human dimension in ratio of 1:10, 1:50, 1:100.


Next, we train to draw cubes with some characteristic:
  1. opaque
  2. translucent
  3. transparent
  4. shadow
  5. shade
  6. overlap
