9D Conference

Finally, the conference and the exhibition is begin. Today is the first day of our exhibition. I reach school at 8.30am and bringing along our tensegrity, salong and masks for the Studio decoration.

That day, Tuan Syed is our MVP. He is the teacher of Cik Wan. Ar. Najib will be his student's student. Amazing right? They are 3 generation standing in front of us.

After their talk, we are going to studio and giving them a surprising exhibition.

After that, the prepared morning tea beside the Big Dome is start.

After that, we move back to the E48B to start the presentation. My group didn't selected so I am free to sitting there and listen to my friend's presentation.

Constructing Dome's Day

We reach here 9.10am and we see just few people around there. So we go to Studio first. When reach there, we see Gan is cleaning up the Studio with friends and we help him too.

I am moving all the blackbox out.

After that, around 9.30am we go to the site and start the work of Dome.

1st layer~~ 2nd layer~~ Of my God, 3rd layer is coming difficult. Again, the weather is so HOT!!

We are taking the Dome and waiting for screw.

Lunch break~~ Dr. Ilias will be sponsor us the lunch in Restoran Nasi Kandar Subaidah.

We are happy to get free lunch. Thank You Dr Ilias.

After lunch, have to continue our work. But my friends and I having a rehearsal and performance at night so we leave this work with permission of Ar. Najib with the letter from TiongHua club.

Because of the problem of strut on top, our Dome have to left out 2 bottom layers. Althought it is an incomplete dome, but is big enough to show our effort already.

This is our PRODUCT!! Yeah~~

Dome Assembly

The whole week we are doing all the works for preparing the Big Dome construction. Cik Wan want us to make scaffold and gangplank.

Before I start my work, I help my friends to "repair" their strut.

This is the ways we tight~~

Using all my power (included body power) to tighten the string~~ My hands are very painful!!

Finally we done! So happy that time~~ But...

After that we ask Cik Wan come and check, hoping he will praise us good effort or high efficiency. But Cik Wan come and say our way to tight is wrong (but is someone teach us 1!!), our string is not enough tight (my hand was sacrificed)... That time, we are rushing to go rehearsal for our coming performance. So we plan to do it again next day.

Next day, here we come again.

Time this we do our scaffold again we the way Cik Wan taught.

Clever already, get glove from workshop, hehehe...

After we done our scaffold, we going to check our struts one by one.

We are waiting to check our struts.

Checking and also helping them to fasten their work. Then afterward, let them screw.

Tensegrity

We learn about tensegrity on Monday, then Encik Rusli want us to make a tensegrity almost same height with our dymanxion. So today, we take out all our remain bamboo we cut last time to do this assignment.

These are our needed materials. The screw ring and fishing rope.

Soul Shift A2 Poster Making

WE CANNOT ALTER PEOPLE'S MIND, WE CAN ONLY INSPIRE

We meet in Tekun Cafe at 7pm then start our poster making. Use bring the A2 broad use them. I believe if everyone using normal paper or just print it out with computer design that is just too simple. Our group will be draw ourselves and make it better.

First will be Suet Ching and Mahram drawing.

After that is my turn then they start to colouring.

I also contribute on colour job. Hehehe...

They both look so concentrate right?
